    Publisher’s Note
    Benjamin C. Krause

Summer 2011 Issue 3: India really opened me up to the freshness guest editing can bring to a journal. Therefore I selected two authors whom I believed to be among the best fiction and poetry writers thus far featured in twenty20 Journal to Guest Edit Fall 2011 Issue 1.

The results exceeded my expectations. I am not going to write much: just let the issue speak for itself. This issue is an incredible effort on the part of the contributors, and the Guest Editing team, Len Kuntz and Nora Nadjarian.

Quick note: Nora Nadjarian’s micro-novel from twenty20 Publishing is coming out this month (hopefully). It already has a Facebook page.

Finally: this will not be the last regular issue to feature a Guest Editor. In fact, Winter 2011-2012 Issue 1 will be guest edited by M.J. Iuppa and Sue Ann Connaughton–and Spring 2011 Issue 1 by Trisha Bhattacharya.

Also, I might as well announce Summer 2012′s themed issues, and the Guest Editor for each:

Summer 2012 Issue 1: Folk. A special issue devoted to the folklore and mythology of each individual author’s culture/ethnicity.
    Guest edited by Mutiu Olawuyi.

Summer 2012 Issue 2: Magic Realism. A special fiction-only issue devoted to magic realism.
    Guest edited by Colin Dardis.

Summer 2012 Issue 3: Femme. A special issue devoted to women’s poetry and fiction.
    Guest Edited by Maggie Hellwig.

More will come on each issue at the prudent time. Meanwhile, Fall 2011 Issue 2 will celebrate the end of twenty20 Journal’s first year with 10 contributions from previous contributors, and 10 contributions from brand-new contributors. You will love it.
